Leech Lake Ice House Rentals

Besides the holidays and spending time with my family, ice fishing takes top billing for me in the winter. Most of the time I travel around with my portable gear, but sometimes you just need to relax and let someone do all the work.

Leech Lake in Minnesota is one of those lakes that I like to hit up once or twice each winter. Sometimes I bring my portable ice fishing gear, but most of the time I'll rent a sleeper house and just enjoy being out there.

Leech Lake was pretty dead for several years, and I feel like they got behind on ice house rental opportunities. When you look at lakes like Mille Lacs, Red Lake, and Lake of the Woods, there are tons of opportunities. It is getting better on Leech, but still not the selection of other large lakes. For that reason, I thought a listing of places that I found who rent ice houses, both sleeper houses and day houses might be of value to you.
